The ideal candidate will understand, and have experience implementing, interventions and school responses with a strong mental health perspective using a lens of equity and inclusivity and will bring a set of skills, dispositions, and experiences to the position that: recognizes the importance of establishing and maintaining appropriate boundaries in productive relationships, and will seek to teach students how to thrive within these boundaries and support our staff in developing and implementing loving boundaries, is instrumental in the development of plans designed to support student reflection that use data to support student and staff understanding, seeks partnership with learners and their families, works with a restorative practices lens and provides PD on the use of these practice, models leadership through integrity and a willingness to have difficult conversations with students, their families, and staff, provides leadership to all staff through regular professional development, leads critical culture-building elements in our school A detailed job description is available by contacting Nelson Fogg, Principal at foggn@hartfordschools.net
